Overview
The Ministry of Technical and Higher Education (MTHE), Sierra Leone, engaged ICGS to develop an institutional website alongside a dedicated scholarship application portal. The Ministry needed an online presence that could represent its work publicly and manage scholarship applications digitally, replacing manual paper-based processes with a streamlined online system. ICGS delivered the project over three months at a project value of $15,000.
What we delivered
- A public-facing institutional website representing the Ministry's programmes and services
- A scholarship application portal built on ASP.NET (C#) with MS SQL Server as the backend
- Online application forms allowing applicants to submit and track their scholarship applications
- A structured database to securely store applicant records and application data
- An administrative interface for Ministry staff to review, manage, and process applications
Result
MTHE now has a functioning website and scholarship portal that allows applicants across Sierra Leone to apply for scholarships online rather than through manual paper-based processes, reducing administrative overhead and improving the applicant experience. The project was delivered on time within the three-month timeline and completed within the $15,000 budget.
