ETUSL portal and website upgrade

In 2023, the Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone (ETUSL) engaged ICGS to upgrade its eLearning portal and institutional website. The existing system needed a more reliable login and access structure for students and staff, along with an application portal for admissions and a website that better reflected the university's programmes and services. As sole consultant on the project, ICGS handled the work end-to-end, from system design through deployment.

1. Redesigned the eLearning portal's authentication system, including a secure login flow and password recovery
2. Rebuilt the portal's front-end interface for clearer navigation and a more consistent look across devices
3. Upgraded the underlying database structure to support more reliable data storage and retrieval
4. Delivered a state-of-the-art application portal for prospective students to apply to the university 
5. Delivered an updated institutional website alongside the portal, aligned with ETUSL's branding
6. Set up basic data analytics and reporting so the university could track portal usage and engagement

ETUSL now has a stable, secure eLearning portal that staff, lecturers, and students can log into reliably and a web application that prospective students can use to apply to the university, along with a modernized website that better represents the institution. The project was completed within the $10,000 budget and delivered as a fully functioning system now in active use.
