Software Engineer
Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications that support ICGS's AI and digital solutions. You will work across the application stack and integrate software systems with data and AI services.
The role
- Developing web applications and backend services.
- Designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Integrating AI and machine learning services into applications.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and tested code.
- Debugging and improving application performance.
- Using Git and modern software development workflows.
- Deploying and maintaining applications in cloud environments.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong experience with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, React, Node.js, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of databases and SQL.
- Experience building and consuming APIs.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Understanding of software development and testing practices.
- Knowledge of Docker or cloud deployment is an advantage.
